WAAGR at Society Sundays
Pizzeria Piccola in Wauwatosa
Sunday,

WAAGR is the nonprofit group at Pizzeria Piccola, 7606 W. State St. in
Wauwatosa from 4 -9 p.m. Enjoy a great meal and help WAAGR raise funds
to help the dogs in our care! WAAGR members will be the wait staff, the
table bussing staff and greeters for this event. WAAGR makes a profit
from every meal sold (including take out) and keeps all the tips for
WAAGR.
Meet WAAGR's Special
Needs Dogs
Sometimes, WAAGR takes in dogs that
need a little more TLC. Maybe the dog has a broken bone, a some medical condition that takes a little more time to diagnose,
or even something like heartworm.
Whatever the case, WAAGR wants to help give dogs the best possible
chance at a new life and to help them find their forever homes.

Volunteer
Opportunities With WAAGR!
(Foster Homes Needed)
Have you wanted to help
WAAGR and not known where to start! There are many opportunities
for members to volunteer! One of the main areas we could use some
help right now is foster homes. This means your home would
be a place to stay for the dogs until they are ready to be adopted out!
You would also be part of the process to decide your foster dog's
"forever home."
Other volunteer
opportunities include:
Assessment - Visit and evaluate a golden retriever needing to be surrendered prior to being brought into our organization. Training is required.
Education - Provide information to the general public to aid in responsible dog ownership and to reduce abuse and neglect of all animals.
Transport - Provide transportation for displaced
goldens from a surrendered home or shelter to their foster family.

of volunteer activities by clicking

Missing golden
We received this
flyer on our general email account and wanted to help bring Basil home.
Basil, an 8-year-old male, has been missing since early
October 2008 in the
Chicago area.
