Welcome - we're glad you are here!  If you are a Golden Retriever fan, you have come to the right place.  Our site is full of information so take some time to check out the pages.  And know that as our volunteers updates our site, there is probably a Golden sleeping nearby!

Meet WAAGR's Special Needs Dogs
Sometimes, WAAGR takes in dogs that need a little more TLC.  Whatever the case, WAAGR wants to help give dogs the best possible chance at a new life and to help them find their forever homes.

Subdivision rummage sale

WAAGR is having their ANNUAL RUMMAGE SALE
Friday and Saturday, June 1st and 2nd

We are in need of items to sell. we are in need of items to sell. While you are doing your spring cleaning please keep us in mind. The rummage is held at the home of Barb Hart in Menomonee Falls. Items can be delivered to her home in mid-late May. We may also be able to arrange pick up if you don’t live nearby.

Best selling items include:
* household décor
* textiles, rugs, bedding, towels
* books and games
* kids clothes and toys
* tools and sporting equipment
* adult clothing in good condition
* kitchen items
* jewelry, including old watches
* small storage cabinets
* dorm room size refrigerators
* anything out of the ordinary
* garden/lawn items including bird feeders, bird houses, garden statues, live plants

We can’t take heavy furniture or appliances since they are too heavy for us to move around.

We will also need volunteers to help set up and help the days of the event.

Pet food suppliers will be on hand to offer samples, coupons and one-day-only specials! Not ready to adopt a new family member? That's OK too! There is plenty to see and animals to pet! Our goal is to make more people aware of making "Adoption an Option" for their next family member.

So come and join us and support the adoption groups, save a few dollars, have a local lunch and enjoy a fun day!

Ever wonder about dog food?
Ever wonder about what dog food is right for your dog?  One of our volunteers found this Web site that is helpful in navigating those dog food waters.  Be sure to always consult with your veterinarian as well with any questions you may have about your dog's nutritional needs.

Volunteer Opportunities with WAAGR
One area we could use some help right now is foster homes.  This means your home would be a place to stay for the dogs until they are ready to be adopted out!  You also would be part of the process to decide your foster dog's "forever home."  Training is provided.
